Luther Washington, II is a gifted musician who is widely respected as an outstanding conductor, organist and music instructor. Mr. Washington received his Bachelor of Science degree in music education with an emphasis in piano performance and high school choral music from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama. He has completed graduate studies in Choral Conducting at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia For over 25 years, Mr. Washington has served as conductor and accompanist to church choral groups. |

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Concert Choir Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Concert Choir consists of about 80 students, while the Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Chorale consists of about 35 students. These two ensembles are comprised of students from grades 9-12 who show musical ability and promise as it pertains to the vocal arts. The choir was formed in 1986 under the direction of Mr. Luther Washington II, a graduate of Pine Forge Academy and Oakwood College, now Oakwood University. Students audition for placement in the choir each school year. |
